People always open their system cabinet to note down their motherboard's name and model no. But this is totally a wrong way. You should never open your cabinet if you don't really need to. You can note all the hardware details of your PC just by following some steps.
Method 1:
Step:1
Press 'Windows Key+R' to open the 'Run' Dialog box.
Step:2
Type in 'dxdiag' and press Enter.
Step:3
Now note down the details.
Method 2:
Click on Start Button→ All Programs→ Accessories→ System Tools→ System Information.
